How it’s made: the Form Forged process

Every Form Forged wheel starts as a cast preform and is finished with flow forming:

The wheel blank is mounted to the forming drum and heated to prepare the aluminum for shaping.

Hydraulic rollers apply calculated pressure to the spinning barrel, extending it into the rim profile.

The barrel is compressed and stretched to its final width and thickness, aligning the grain structure.

Professional installation is recommended. Clean the hub face, hand-thread lugs in a star pattern, torque to 50% then to final spec, and re-check after 50–100 miles. After transferring TPMS sensors, run the relearn procedure from the vehicle menu or a scan tool.

Warranty

E5 warrants its wheels against defects in material and workmanship for five years from retail purchase, including the finish, and against structural failure under normal use for as long as the original purchaser owns them. Racing, accidents and improper installation or maintenance are not covered.

Do I need hub-centric rings?

No. The wheels are hub-centric for your Corvette (66.9mm center bore), so no rings are needed.

Can I reuse my factory TPMS sensors?

Yes. E5 wheels accept factory Corvette 315 MHz TPMS sensors. Replace the valve stem seals during transfer and perform a TPMS relearn.

What lug nuts and torque do I need?

Use M14 x 1.5 conical 60° seat lug nuts with a 21mm socket and torque to 129 ft-lbs. Re-torque after 50–100 miles.

What does Form Forged mean?

E5’s Form Forged Series uses flow forming: the barrel is heated and rolled under pressure, stretching and compressing the aluminum for a lighter, stronger, forged-like barrel at a fraction of the cost of a fully forged wheel.

Is this sold as a set?

Yes. You receive a complete staggered set of 4 wheels (2 front, 2 rear) with E5 center caps.

Can you mount tires?

Yes. Ask us for a wheel & tire package: mounting, Road Force balancing, black lug nuts and TPMS sensor transfer are included.
